At Contact Industries, our business is to turn architects' and designers' design ideas into reality. Using innovative technologies, we wrap real wood veneer of any species over profiles made of softwood, hardwood, MDF, aluminum, vinyl, or composites. Our capabilities mean you can have the beauty of wood, even when the specifications call for something else. So let your imagination run wild– if you can dream it, we can make it a reality. Our goal is to develop ways to translate your designs into aesthetically pleasing and functional products. Check out one of our latest custom solutions.
Key features and benefits of Contact Industries' products:
- Advances in high-performance adhesives eliminate delamination concerns, allowing our veneer products to perform, over time, just like solid wood.
- Advanced veneer technology assures that your projects “finish out” as you had intended.
- Long lengths for one piece installations and less seams
- Prefinishing solutions so that products are color consistent
Opportunities for continuing education
Recently, a CEU program on the profile wrapping process was approved by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) under its sustainability-related training program. The CEU unit, sponsored by Contact, was published in the May/June issue of GreenSource magazine and can be found on the McGraw-Hill CES website. The same information and amount of CEU credits can also be gained through our Lunch and Learn program. To schedule one, contact us at 1-800-547-1038 or sales@contactind.com.
Our commitment to resource efficiency
- 95% of the wood that enters Contact’s manufacturing facility is manufactured into a useable product.
- We recycle nearly all of the material and by-products of our manufacturing process.
- By its very nature, profile wrapping is environmentally sound. By profile wrapping veneer over low cost substrate, Contact Industries is able to increase yields by up to 50 times over solid products.
