Contact Industries offers fleece backed thin veneers in most any wood species for those customers and manufacturers who do their own, in-house profile wrapping.

This thin wrap veneer, which is intended for tight radius profile wrapping, is backed with a polyester fiber backing that takes to adhesives more readily than most paper-backed veneer products. To assist in application, Contact provides a Type 1 adhesive that will stand up to the toughest requirements for interior or exterior use.

Contact’s veneers are available in clear strips to 146 inches in length, or finger jointed (or butt jointed) into efficient sized 3” inner core diameter rolls for those customers who have invested in roll and flying cutoff saw technology. Generally, non-spliced veneer blanks can be produced up to six inches in width. Where some veneer manufacturers may require four to six weeks to meet an order, Contact prides itself in providing much shorter lead-times, as little as ten days for regular customers.
