Class A Fire Ratings

Contact recently tested three common veneer-wrapped ceiling configurations and achieved Class A fire rating for all three. Configurations tested included veneer wrapped, prefinished lineal aluminum, veneer-wrapped, prefinished aluminum panels and veneered wrapped, prefinished fire-rated particleboard. The resulting Class A fire ratings give ceiling manufacturers, architects and contractors an added level of reduced liability when specifying Contact Industries for these products.
